William Gay Back in Pittsburgh?
March 3, 2013 in Steelers
William Gay was released by the Arizona Cardinals and a couple days later his Twitter account indicates he’s coming back to Pittsburgh. Neither his “people” or the Steelers have made a formal announcement. As it happens so often these days, Twitter seems to provide a scoop. He has changed his his Twitter profile at @williamgay22 to say he is a cornerback for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He also tweeted that he’s glad he didn’t sell his place in Pittsburgh. Looks like he’s back. What are your thoughts? Share them below!

The Steelers have now have lost two of their top three draft picks to injuries — offensive guard David DeCastro had knee surgery Wednesday and starting fullback David Johnson (ACL). In addition, halfback John Clay (torn quad) and now third round pick Sean Spence took a brutal knee injury. Coach Tomlin called it a “significant” injury to his left knee and said Spence was taken to a hospital. Glad to have this pre season behind us, it’s been a tough one.
